"Staying in Russell for 6 days and wanting to eat in a different restaurant each evening. Tonight is night 3, searching the options, we love Thai food, read the reviews especially the whiny ones about the grumpy old guy and decided we had to go and meet the grumpy old guy for ourselves. His name is Charlie, far from grumpy, quite endearing actually. Very friendly, prompt service and excellent food. I had Panang Curry (as good as I’ve had in several countries), Danielle had a stir fry that was equally delicious. We were surprised at low the bill was for two meals and two glasses of wine. Great place to eat. Charlie’s a nice guy , highly recommend"

"We tried TukTuk Thai Food since I love Thai food, and although there was a long wait, the food was absolutely worth it. We ordered the chicken pad thai and pineapple fried rice both were delicious. The curry puff was a standout, wow, one of the best we’ve had! The waitress was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, it’s still a highly recommended place to visit when you’re in Russell."
